Hi, my name is Ernesto Muniz and I live in Monticello, Arkansas. My family owns a small range (50 yards and 20 positions). We also have a 200 yard rifle lane. I usually host an IDPA style pistol shoot on the first Saturday of every month.

I am interested in getting started on the IR50/50 style competition which I am willing to host at our range.

You know the competition is stiff when a 250-10x is only good enough for 2nd place in Sporter!!! On a cold 38* morning at Willow River, Herb Smith took honors in Sporter with a 250-13x and Fred Wickstrom followed up with a 250-10x. Congrats to both fellas and a hearty thank you to everyone that showed up for the first Willow River shoot of 2008. As always, we had plenty of great scores shot, and a good time was had by all.

We got caught up in trying to make everybody happy and may have missed the forest because of the trees. More clubs are requesting State & Regional matches than can be accomodated. In an effort to make that work, in some cases, we split the typical two day State/Regional match into one day matches at different clubs thinking that would be a fair compromise. Sounded good until the phone started ringing....

As it turns out, we failed to consider a key factor. In fact, the very most "keyest" factor and that being the competitor. You know, the one that pays the bills.

Over the last month I have done extensive updates on my IR50/50 Scoring Program.
It has an Award Print that a lot of clubs really like.
It has a Move Names & Equipment button which will make it easier to move to a new version of my program. Just open your old program and the new version and push a button. All your Shooters and their Equipment will be transferred to the new version.
It has a Self Repair feature incase you accidentally delete a formula.
There are other little updates that you might never notice but make the program run smoother

Wilderness Road Gun Club in Gate City, Va will be shooting back to back 3-gun matches on April 27, May 03, and July 27. They will start at 9:00 AM each day.The Virginia State Championship Matches will be held on June 06 & 07.Please mark your calendars. We're looking forward to see y'all there.Gary
